In 2013, we did the unthinkable by establishing an award-winning vineyard in Southwest Virginia. At that time, our initial vines of Viognier, Chardonnay, and Merlot were planted on 6 acres of rolling farmland in the Virginia Highlands.
Today, our Nicewonder Vineyards have expanded and now span 13 acres, with the addition of Petit Verdot. We proudly produce all of our varieties of wines right here onsite, from the vine to the bottle. We are also happy to say that our Viognier won a Gold Medal at the 2016 Virginia Governor’s Cup, the first of many accolades to follow.
