One of the most exciting times to visit Nicewonder Vineyards is in the spring when the buds on our 13 acres of vines first break, or burst open, and the vines hit the first cycle of producing a grape, after a long winter of dormancy. It is truly a magical phenomenon, when the vineyard begins its transition to a lush green, soon to bear those gorgeous grapes that will form the nectar for glasses of wine for years to come.
